Vibes detects Rekordbox automatically and reads your XML or the Rekordbox 6 and 7 database directly. Playlists come in intact, and you can map any of them to vibes during import.

Build your own categories in Vibe Creator, tag at speed in Vibe Sort with keyboard shortcuts, and design sets on the Set Designer canvas with suggestions by BPM, key, and vibe.

Export straight back

One click writes a Vibes Library folder of playlists directly into your Rekordbox database, including auto-detected cue points, ratings, and vibe comments. XML export is there as a fallback.

No. Vibes adds its own Vibes Library folder to your playlist tree and leaves everything else untouched. Your existing playlists, hot cues, and settings stay exactly as they are.
Both. Vibes reads the Rekordbox 6 and 7 database directly and also supports classic XML import. On export it writes playlists straight into the database, with XML as a fallback option.
Never. Vibes references your files where they are on disk and does not modify the audio. Your Rekordbox file paths keep working.
Export is a deliberate one-click action, not a background sync. After a tagging session or a new set, run export again and the Vibes Library folder in Rekordbox is refreshed.
My Tag is customizable, but it is capped at four categories, and building it out in the browser is slower than a dedicated sorting workflow. Vibes gives you unlimited categories and vibes, a keyboard-first sorting workflow, AI suggestions trained on your own picks, and a visual set builder, then hands the result back to Rekordbox as plain playlists.
