Vibes is live
Analysis

Know every track before you play it.

On import, Vibes analyzes every track locally: BPM and key, a multi-band waveform, a locked beat grid, an energy curve, and auto-detected cue points for the intro, drops, and breakdowns.

Vibes track view with waveform, BPM, and key after local analysis

Every track analyzed locally the moment you import.

How it works.

Step 01Import

Add tracks from your DJ software or a folder. Each one is queued for analysis automatically, with no separate scan to run.

Step 02Analyze locally

Vibes detects BPM and key, builds the waveform and beat grid, traces the energy curve, and marks the sections, all on your machine.

Step 03Inspect and mix

Open the visualization to see the drops, verify the grid, and plan your cue points before they export to your players.

Every track, fully understood.

BPM, key, structure, and energy, detected locally the moment you import.

BPM and key

Accurate tempo and key, automatically.

Tempo detection with downbeat backtracking and a neural key detector run on every import, so your library is searchable and mixable without typing anything in by hand.

Harmonic mixing

Every track, keyed for the mix.

Vibes detects each track's musical key and places it on the Camelot wheel, so the harmonically compatible options are obvious at a glance, no music theory required.

Cue points

Intros, drops, and breakdowns, marked for you.

Vibes auto-detects sections and places cue points at the intro, buildup, drop, breakdown, and outro, then exports them as cues into Rekordbox, Traktor, and Engine DJ, encoded at each track's native sample rate when writing to Engine DJ. Serato's crate format cannot carry cues, so there the sections stay visible in Vibes as your prep map.

Beat grids

Grids that hold to the end of the track.

The beat grid is locked to detected downbeats, with backtracking and correction so it stays aligned across the whole track instead of drifting after the first sixteen bars. Long intros, sparse breakdowns, and older masters are exactly where that matters.

Structure and vocals

Sections and lead regions, mapped.

Beyond the beat, Vibes marks the intro, buildup, drop, breakdown, and outro, and separately detects lead and vocal regions. Both appear as overlays on the waveform, so a vocal clash is visible before you plan the transition, not after you hear it.

Sound profile

A fingerprint of how each track sounds.

Beyond BPM and key, Vibes captures a compact profile of each track's energy, drums, and frequency balance. That fingerprint powers Sound Match in Set Designer, so suggestions sound right and do not just match on paper.

Frequently asked questions

The honest answers, including the trade-offs.

No. Analysis runs automatically on import. You can also re-analyze a track to fill only what is missing, or rebuild everything if a detection was off.
Both are benchmarked internally against hand-labelled DJ tracks. Tempo detection lands in the same accuracy band as the major commercial DJ analyzers, and key detection uses a neural model trained on DJ-labelled data, scored against a Camelot reference set. When a detection is off, re-analysis is one click away.
Yes. Every track offers two levels: re-analyze missing fills only the gaps, like a waveform that did not finish on import, while re-analyze fully drops everything and reruns the whole pipeline. You can also select a batch of tracks and re-analyze them in one pass.
No. Everything runs locally on your machine, and your files are referenced where they are and never modified.
Yes. When Vibes writes into Engine DJ it encodes cue points at each track's native sample rate, so they land in the right place on your standalone players.
Vibes builds a perceptually weighted energy curve and detects sections and lead or vocal regions, which also feed the next-track suggestions in Set Designer.
