Use Apple Music in Serato DJ.
Serato DJ Pro and Serato DJ Lite 3.3.0 or later play Apple Music straight from the decks: open Setup, go to Library + Display, Music Streaming, switch on Show Streaming Services, select Apple Music, and sign in through your browser with an active subscription. The part most guides leave out: streamed tracks arrive at 256 kbps AAC, need a live internet connection, cannot be added to your crates or smart crates, and cannot be used with Stems or recording.

Streaming lives inside Serato. Vibes organizes the files you keep.
Use Apple Music in Serato DJ, step by step.
Does Serato work with Apple Music? Yes, in the paid app and in the free one, from version 3.3.0 onward, and setup takes about a minute.
Check the requirements first
Apple Music and Serato DJ connect through an official integration, so there is nothing extra to install. You need an active Apple Music subscription and Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite 3.3.0 or later. Serato notes that if you are not already a subscriber, you should be offered a one month free trial when you sign in.
Decide how your Apple Music library syncs
Choose how the Music app behaves first. With Sync Library on, your locally imported files upload to your Cloud Music Library and show up twice in Serato, once under iTunes and once under Apple Music streaming, and the two copies do not share cue points or beatgrids. With it off, your own files stay local and you manage streaming playlists on the web.
Turn on Music Streaming in Setup
Open Serato, then navigate to Setup, Library + Display, Music Streaming. Enable Show Streaming Services if it is switched off, then select Apple Music from the list of streaming services. Apple Music sits alongside Beatport, SoundCloud, Spotify and Tidal in the same panel, so you can keep more than one service enabled at a time.
Sign in through your browser
Click Sign up / Login to Apple Music. The app hands you to your default browser to log in, sign up, or continue with an account you are already signed in to. Confirm, then click Allow on the pop-up that offers to send you back to Serato. The Music Streaming panel then shows your account as logged in.
Search the catalog
Click the Streaming Search button next to the search box. Focus switches to the ALL crate and streaming tracks become searchable. Click the button again to return to the crate and track you had selected before. If your internet connection or the connection to the server fails, that button is greyed out.
Build streaming playlists and show Top Charts
Click New Streaming Playlist to create an Apple Music playlist from inside Serato, and name it carefully: later renames only work in an Apple Music app or on the web. Drag tracks onto it as you would with a crate. Toggle Show Featured Playlists to show or hide Top Charts, and Only Show Clean Content to keep explicit tracks out.
The catch
Serato DJ Apple Music streaming is a rental, not a library. Tracks need a live internet connection every time, arrive at 256 kbps AAC, cannot be dropped into Serato crates or smart crates, and are gone the day the subscription lapses. There is no legitimate way to turn a streamed track into a file you own.
Where Vibes fits
Streaming covers the requests. The music you own still needs organizing.
Vibes has no streaming import and no streaming playback. It works on the files on your drive, which is the half of your library that has to be sorted, tagged and ready before the gig. Import your Serato crates or your Apple Music library XML with the Import Wizard, and Vibes reads BPM, key, energy and sections for every track. Tag them into vibes by hand, by combination, or with Auto-Tagging, then export the result back to Serato as crates.

Your playlists, tags, ratings, and cue points travel back to the gear you play on, so nothing you do in Vibes is locked away.
