Clean up your library in Traktor.
Right-click the Track Collection folder in the Browser Tree, choose Check Consistency, then use the report's Relocate, Remove Missing and Analyze buttons to repair every broken and half-imported entry in one pass. Tracks you no longer want go with a right-click in the Track List and Delete from Collection, where a security dialog decides whether the audio file on your hard drive goes with them. Export the collection before you start, because undoing a bad delete means loading an older backup, not pressing undo.

One clean pass through the collection, then straight back into Traktor.
Clean up your library in Traktor, step by step.
Most advice on how to clean up Traktor library clutter stops at deleting tracks. The real job is four passes: dead file references, half-analyzed imports, duplicates, and tracks you will never play again. Traktor has a separate tool for each one, so the order matters.
Export the collection before you delete anything
Right-click the Track Collection folder in the Browser Tree and select Export the Collection. Give the backup a name in the Playlist Title field, leave the symbol Traktor puts at the front of it, choose a Destination, and tick Copy Tracks To Destination if you want the audio files copied too. Traktor also writes an automatic backup to the Backup folder in its Root folder each time you close it.
Run Check Consistency on the Track Collection
Right-click the Track Collection folder in the Browser Tree again and select Check Consistency. The Consistency Check Report opens on an Overview tab counting Total Tracks, Tracks Missing, Tracks Not Analyzed and Tracks Missing Stripe, with separate Missing Tracks and Tracks To Analyze tabs beside it. Those four numbers are your to-do list for the rest of this job.
Relocate what moved, remove what is gone
Click Relocate in the report to open the Relocate dialog and point Traktor at the folder your files moved to. If they scattered across several folders, navigate to the top-level folder above them all. Anything genuinely deleted goes with the Remove Missing button, which strips the dead references out of the Track Collection. In the Track List, missing tracks carry an exclamation mark in the status column.
Clear the analysis backlog
Click Analyze in the report to process everything on the Tracks To Analyze tab, or right-click a selection in the Track List and choose Analyze (Async). The Analyze dialog offers All, which follows the Analyze Options page in Preferences, or Special, where you tick BPM, Set Beatgrid, Key, Gain and Replace Locked Values yourself. Leave Parallel Processing off if you are about to play, since it raises CPU load.
Delete the tracks you will never play
Right-click the track or selection in the Track List and choose Delete from Collection. The security dialog offers three levels: delete from collection removes the track from the Track Collection and every Playlist, the second option also removes Traktor tags from the music files, and the third additionally deletes the files from your hard drive. Pick the first unless you are certain you want the audio gone.
Cut the duplicates
Right-click a Playlist in the Browser Tree and select Remove Duplicates to drop repeated entries from that list. For the collection itself, click a column header in the Track List to sort by Title or Artist and read through the neighbours. Before deleting a copy, right-click it and choose Search in Playlists, which reports every playlist that contains it so nothing disappears from a set by surprise.
Filter out what you never touch, then save
Right-click the Playlists folder and choose Create Smartlist. Filter on Play Count, Last Played Date or Import Date to build a live list of tracks that have sat untouched since the day you imported them, and on File Availability or Analyzed status to catch the rest. Work through it, then right-click the Track Collection folder and select Save Collection to write your changes.
The catch
Traktor has no collection-wide duplicate finder. Remove Duplicates works inside a single Playlist only, so copies spread across the Track Collection still have to be found by sorting a column and reading the list by eye, and renamed copies of the same recording will not line up next to each other at all.
The faster way
Find the dead weight before you open Traktor.
Vibes imports your Traktor collection with Smart Import, then runs a duplicate finder in three layers: exact file, matching metadata, and audio similarity, so renamed copies surface next to the obvious ones. Star ratings, energy 1 to 10 and per-track metadata editing in Track Inspector let you sort keepers from junk in a single table. When you are done, export the cleaned playlists and vibes back to Traktor.
