Fix wrong key or BPM in djay Pro.
djay Pro gives you solid tools for correcting BPM and beatgrid errors, and its library lets you edit a wrong key directly. Here is how to find and fix both.

Halved BPM values and off-by-one keys are the two errors worth hunting down before a gig.
Fix wrong key or BPM in djay Pro, step by step.
BPM errors in djay Pro usually mean a halved or doubled tempo or a misplaced beatgrid, and both have real fixes. Key errors have a fix too: djay Pro lets you edit a track's key directly in the library, so a wrong detection does not have to stay wrong.
Spot the error first
Sort your library by BPM and scan for values that look halved or doubled for the genre, like house tracks in the 60s or drum and bass in the 80s. For key, suspicious values usually surface when a supposedly compatible blend clashes. Confirm by ear on a deck before editing anything.
Fix BPM with the tempo and beatgrid controls
Load the track and open djay Pro's BPM or beatgrid editing controls on the deck. Current versions offer halve and double buttons, which fix the most common error instantly, plus tap tempo and manual BPM entry for odd cases. If beats drift against the grid, shift the grid's downbeat to the first real beat and check alignment further into the track.
Try re-analysis for wrong keys
For a wrong key, the first move is forcing a fresh analysis of the track from the library context menu, which can help if the original analysis ran on a corrupted or partial read. If re-analysis returns the same wrong key, move on and edit the key manually.
Edit the key manually in the library
In My Collection or My Files, right-click the track's key field and choose Edit, then enter the correct key. If you enable the double-click editing option in Settings under Advanced, a double click on the field works too. Key is even editable on streaming tracks, whose other metadata stays locked. Verify the true key with a second analyzer or by matching against a reference track whose key you trust.
The catch
Metadata edits made in djay Pro live in djay's own library and only cover tracks in My Collection or My Files. For streaming tracks, title, artist, and album stay locked to the service's data, though key and track color can still be edited.

Build & ReleaseWhere Vibes fits
Find the errors, even if djay Pro keeps them
Vibes cannot correct anything inside djay Pro; it has no djay Pro integration and exports only to Rekordbox, Serato, Traktor, and Engine DJ. Its value here is detection: running your local files through Vibes gives you an independent BPM and key reading, so instead of discovering a wrong key mid-blend, you know before the gig which djay Pro values to correct.
See how it worksOrganize in Vibes, export to djay Pro.
Your playlists, tags, ratings, and cue points travel back to the gear you play on, so nothing you do in Vibes is locked away.
