How to Write a DJ Bio
A DJ bio is your professional introduction. It appears on SoundCloud, Resident Advisor, booking platforms, festival websites, and venue listings. It needs to communicate who you are, what you sound like, and why someone should book or listen to you, all in 2-3 sentences.
Use this generator to create a starting point, then personalize it with your actual achievements, specific releases, and real venue names. The best bios are specific and factual. "Releases on Drumcode and Afterlife" is stronger than "releases on respected labels." Don't have a DJ name yet, or need to name a labelyou've released on? Handle those first, then write the bio around them.
